In 1574AD, in the warring-states era of Japan the story begins...

In the small Kingdom of Kasuga, great warrior Ijiri Matabê (Kusanagi Tsuyoshi), who is known as Demon Ijiri in the battlefield, is bidden to protect Princess Ren (Aragaki Yui). Warrior Ijiri and Princess Ren grow up together and have fallen in love despite their differences in social status.

During a battle, Ijiri is about to be assassinated. Come to Ijiri’s surprise, a boy named Kawakami Shinichi (the original character Crayon Shin-chan played by Takei Akashi) travels through time, and coincidently saves his life. Shinichi was taken to their castle where he finally meets the princess of his dream.

Unlike other movie versions of Crayon Shin-chan, this film is a tragic drama and Shin-chan weeps for the very first time.
